A friend of mine won a trip to Costa Rica. They decided to take a tour of the rainforests.  She said it was an amazing experience.   Has anyone toured the rainforests in Costa Rica who can share their experiences?

Rainforests are forests characterized by high rainfall. One and one-half acres of rainforest are lost every second with tragic consequences for both developing and industrial countries. The rainforest is home to more than half of the world's animals. Colorful and unusual animals dwell in all four layers of the forest. If managed properly, the rainforest can provide the world's need for these natural resources on a perpetual basis.Tropical rainforests provide timber as well as animal products such as meat and hides.
