Hi,

I will be travelling for 3 weeks (end March till mid April) to New Zealand covering both North and South. Starting in Christchurch and ending in Auckland.

I need advise where to do some budget shopping. I don't think Queen Street is a cheap place to shop.

Where can I look for souveniers such T-***s, caps, fridge magnetics, etc in Auckland.

By the way, is there any shopping center that closes beyond 5pm during the weekdays.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The main shopping inner city area is around Queen street.Jasons Auckland City Shopping Guide has all the details on souvenir shops, duty free shops, shopping galleries, gift shops, markets, gourmet food etc etc.Botany Town Centre is Auckland's newest and largest shopping centre and has a village feel about it.You can also try Downtown Shopping Centre There are at least 70 shops and service centres located here with a food hall on the first floor.
