I am a stay at home mom  and would love to become a travel agent right out of my home.  I am wondering if alot of people actually use travel agents since it is so easy to jump online and find great deals.

I was a travel agent for 10 years with a local agency. I am now taking care of my elderly mother and need to work from home. Is there any agencies that need help from someone who can not go into an office every day? I don't really want to have my own business but would rather work for an already established company.

Hi Leila

I know that there are Travel Agencies - even in Australia - offering home-based Agents either on a contract or commission based. I don't have a link here now, but you should find this googling around.
Otherwise you can start in your neighborhood, placing flyers etc and start your own business slowly going from there.

Home-based travel agent opportunities are considered better now than ever before for either a part-time or full-time home-based travel agent. The need for experienced travel agents is increasing as more people travel for business and pleasure. You can also check the HomeBasedTravelAgent.com website for more info.
